Combining the Blogs
I have decided that keeping two blogs going is not working, so I am discontinuing this blog. I will continue to share my faith on my other blog. Faith Fridays will continue when I have stories to share. Faith Friday
Today's true story of faith comes from Lisa.
I had lots of treasures here on earth which I called my children. That was my most treasured of all and I was very proud and thankful for them until one day they [2 boys] had a auto accident on the way to school. They where both killed, my world was crushed in an instant. I was very angry with God for doing this to me. I would go lay on there graves, sometimes all night long and cry, and cussed God. This went on for several months until i was sitting on a bench I placed at their foot of their grave, and I said to God, Lord I know it was you that gave them to me and for that I am thankful, and it was you that made the time I had with them so memorable and I'm thankful for that. It was you that made the time they were here very enjoyable for them and me and for that I'm thankful. I could not of asked for 2 better boys if I had of tried and I'm very thankful for that, and I understand You have a plan for them and that's why You decided their time here was done. So I turn them over to You gracefully I hope You will cradle them in the palm of your hand and I turn myself back over to You and I believe in You, for I know I'm not to understand now but hope and pray for that someday....!!! I set there for about 30 min. more when i saw these 3 deer come out of the woods they stopped and 2 came over and laid down beside me and the 3rd one went up the other direction out of sight. The 2 deer lay there within 10 feet of me and they stayed there for a very long time then they got up and went over to where they were when they separated and the 3rd deer came back then they went back in the woods, and at that moment I felt the weight of the world lift off my shoulders... and now I have my faith back and I cherish my memories of my 2 boys always

Only One Way
John 14:5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Many people will try to tell you that there are many ways to get to Heaven. Even some of our so called religious leaders would try to claim this. The Bible clearly says however that Jesus is THE ONLY WAY.
Phillipians 2: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;
11 And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Going to Church
Today is Sunday, and on my other blog I would not post on Sundays. I want to invite everyone who reads this blog to take the time to go to church somewhere if you don't normally go. Church is where we go to worship, and fellowship. There are churches for every style of worship you feel comfortable with. If you haven't been attending regular worship services, find somewhere and start.
If you do go to church, invite someone to go with you, and make them feel at home. If you see someone new at your church, take time to go up to them and welcome them. God gave his Son for us, can we not give him a few hours?

What Are You Looking For?
John 14 :1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
John chapter 14 is probably my favorite chapter in The Bible. I will talk about this chapter a good bit, because there is so much good stuff in it. Today, I want to focus on the mansion. Mansion is the word used in the King James version of the Bible. Other versions read words like dwelling place and home. Does it really matter. I have even had one friend tell me he couldn't wait to get to Heaven because he was going to have a huge mansion, and a big truck.
I look at it this way, I don't care if I have to live in a cardboard box on the street. The streets are purest gold anyway, so that would be better than anything on this earth. I don't care if I have to eat the scraps off the table, it would be greater than any food known to man. I really don't care if I have to stand at the end of the line to meet Jesus face to face when I get there, I will have eternity.
I guess what I am trying to say is that we don't need to dwell on what rewards we think we will get when we get to Heaven. We are not worthy of anything outside of Christ anyway. Isn't the fact that we will be with Christ, for all eternity, enough? I look forward to that day, the day when I see Jesus face to face, when I see all of my loved ones that have gone on before. The older I get, the more I realize that there are beginning to be more there then there are here. I look forward to seeing my Dad again, without the pain he was in at the end of his life. I yearn to see my grandmothers again, and my grandfathers I never knew, my Aunts and Uncles, friends. I have often thought about how great the fellowship will be there, without the pains and struggles of this life.
I hope that each and every person that reads this is ready for Heaven. I hope all my friends and family are, but I know better. If you don't know Jesus Christ as your personal savior there is no better time than right now.

Faith Friday
Fridays are going to be Faith Fridays. I have great stories of faith, and can't wait to share them with you. Faith Fridays will be different, I am going to let the testimonies do the talking. This was the first testimony that I received when I asked for stories of faith. It is a story of a young man's faith, and the faith of his loving mother. Thank you Tammie B. Our prayers are with you.
My son passed away 7 years ago from cancer and had it not been for faith I am not sure where we would be today. He was a very strong young man. We found out when he was 13 and he passed at 15. Once the doctor told him that the chances he would not make it was great because the type of cancer he had really had no success. He responded it is ok because fear is not in God's vocabulary and it will not be in mine. Once we knew the time was getting very near he looked at me and said Mom please don't be angry with God because I was never your child to begin with, God just loaned me to you for a short time. That is so true we all that believe are God's children. He also left a note that we found after he had passed and it stated by the time you read this letter I will be gone home don't be angry because we prayed for me to be cancer free and now I am. He said he just hope that people saw Christ through his life and one day he would see us again. Had it not been for the faith my son had I am not sure how I could live each day.

Begin The Journey
This is my verse. I am claiming this verse. The name of this blog is One For A Million. I am one. I have struggled recently with what my ministry would be, how I could share the good news of Jesus Christ. After much prayer, this is what I felt led to do. What I am asking is that each person who reads this blog invite someone else to come.
So often we find ourselves forwarding funny e-mails, videos, or whatever tickles our fancy. Every day some new fad "goes viral." It's time to claim the internet for Jesus. One person at a time. This blog is not about me.

My goal is to share your testimonies, your prayer requests, and your victories. My prayer is that this blog becomes your place to go every day to become renewed. It's time for a revival. Faith
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Faith is a funny thing. Most people have some form or another of faith, whether in money, people, jobs, whatever. The thing about having faith in these things is that you will surely be let down. Money, jobs, and people can be gone in an instant. My faith is in Jesus Christ alone.
Ever since I made my intentions known to do this blog during September, I have been getting a huge lesson in faith. The fiery darts have been all around me this past week. I have been attacked, materially, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. It has made my resolve even stronger. I am wholly dependent on Christ.
Whatever sruggle you are facing, whether it be a sick family member, bills, family problems, whatever, take a few minutes each day during the month of September to ask someone to join us here. I will try my best to give you something that will be an inspiration. Keep me, and my family, in your prayers also, as I know that we will be under attack until this journey is completed. Tomorrow is day one. Will you be "One"?

The Power of One
What can one person do? I asked myself this question one night when I couldn't sleep. I didn't know why I coudn't rest, things were going okay for me, I had no big worries at the time. That question came to me as clear as a bell as I lay there that night. One person can't do much, I thought, especially me. I lay there trying to sleep, but I couldn't get that thought out of my mind. Then it occured to me, God was trying to open my heart to something. What He led me to was something that I struggled with for several weeks.
As I lay there, the story of the multiplying penny came to my mind. I'm sure most of you have heard the story. A man goes to work for another, and tells him he will work for 30 days. The first day he will work all day for one penny. All the man has to do is double his pay every day of the month. They agree and the first man works all day for a penny. The second day he works for 2 pennies. Doing this, the man's pay worked out like this every day of the month.

That is 1 billion people in 30 days. I am praying for 1 million. Out of 1 billion possible, are there 1 million willing to take the challenge? Out of the 1 million, is there one that doesn't know Christ? Are YOU willing to take the challenge?

One For A million
September 1st will start my drive for One For One Million. My goal is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with One Million People. I am one person, but if I tell one person, that's two, if two tell two, that four. If enough people will pray and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, this goal can be reached in as little as 21 days. I want stories of your faith, and why YOU choose to follow Jesus in your life. It is going to be a great journey. Starting September 1st.
